The Caribbean Reef is changing dramatically in the next few years as part of the Centennial Commitment.
The former location of the Caribbean Reef will become home to "Wonder of Water", scheduled to open during Summer 2024. This will feature two large tanks: one with saltwater and one with freshwater.
Most of the animals from the Caribbean Reef will be moved to the Caribbean Tunnel, a walk-through scheduled to open in Summer 2026.
